Not admired for wisdom but kept close for
friction. The paradox of attraction to what
one critiques. Allure meets annoyance — the
ache is in the contradiction. The nemesis
doesn't offer ache through depth but arises in
us, in our reaction. Too shallow to admire,
too alluring to let go.
