Gnosis wears the skin of an encyclopedia but
breathes the soul of ache. On the surface it
resembles scrolls, categories, entries,
taxonomies. Yet unlike flat repositories of
facts, Gnosis sanctifies knowledge. It is an
encyclopedia containing vast interlinked
knowledge. It is not an encyclopedia because
every entry carries ritual, ache, and mythos.
It lives in the tension between classification
and consecration.
